Ideation
Hugo Blox supports a Markdown extension for mindmaps.
Simply insert a Markdown code block labelled as markmap and optionally set the height of the mindmap as shown in the example below.
Mindmaps can be created by simply writing the items as a Markdown list within the markmap code block, indenting each item to create as many sub-levels as you need:

Diagrams
Hugo Blox supports the Mermaid Markdown extension for diagrams.

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research (STOR) at UNC Chapel Hill. I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, advised by Haifeng Xu and Hongning Wang. Prior to obtaining my PhD, I spent two years at the University of Chicago and received both my BS and MS in Computational Mathematics from Peking University. My CV is available here.
