Side projects

Small tools I build by vibe coding with AI agents, mostly to make my own work easier. They are personal projects, separate from my research, and shared as they are.

Smart Teleprompter

Preview release · v1.3.0

A teleprompter that listens: it follows your speech in English or Chinese and keeps your slides in step.

Read, pause, paraphrase or ad-lib. The prompter follows you phrase by phrase, flags passages you skipped, and can turn Keynote or PowerPoint slides and play animation steps when your speech reaches them.

  • Voice following in English and Chinese, on-device with Apple speech recognition or in the browser
  • Five views, from the full text to a one-line outline, with a detail slider
  • Keynote and PowerPoint sync: imports presenter notes, turns slides, and plays builds at [click] markers in the script
  • LaTeX formulas rendered in the script and followed by their spoken reading
  • Optional AI assistance (Jev) for paraphrases, jumps and slide mapping; local following works without it

Agent Desk

Personal tool · local only

A local control desk for a small team of coding agents.

It runs on my Mac and keeps Codex and Claude Code sessions in one place: who is working on what, what they produced, and what is blocking them. Agents can hold multi-round discussions or work as writer–reviewer pairs on a project, and every step is logged with its evidence.

  • An overview of every agent seat: app status, usage windows and current tasks, each state labeled with the record it came from
  • Discussion runs: independent proposals first, then rounds of responses, with messages and artifact versions saved
  • Project Duet: a writer proposes edits, the coordinator applies only edits that pass scope and hash checks and runs your tests, and reviewers inspect the full result
  • Reports that index every raw message, plus a summary. Final acceptance always stays with you
